Technology Platform

Our Research Is Embodied in the Digital Archives Pro™ Platform

A hardware-grounded architecture for deterministic governance, verifiable provenance, and retention-enforced preservation. This is a technical overview, not a product catalog.

Architecture

Ten Interlocking Mechanisms

Each mechanism addresses a specific technical problem; together they form the platform.

🌐

Strategic Knowledge Infrastructure

The architectural layer that makes knowledge lineage verifiable across systems and over time.

Deterministic Governance Engine

A dependency graph of governance principles evaluated in a single deterministic pass, where a failed principle suppresses its dependents.

🗃

Storage Abstraction Layer

One backend-agnostic interface through which every read, integrity check, and preservation transition is funneled.

🚫

Hardware Policy Gate

Policy enforcement at the register level, so a disallowed read is never dispatched to the storage medium at all.

📉

Knowledge Entropy Decay Model

A calibrated estimate of the probability that an asset's knowledge becomes unusable over time.

🌐

Technology Transfer Risk Index

Lineage-derived analysis of the concrete paths along which controlled technology could move.

🔗

Hash-Chain Ledger

An append-only, locally verifiable cryptographic chain that localizes tampering to an exact record.

🔒

Trusted WORM Architecture

Retention-bound write-once enforcement designed to hold even against privileged administrative access.

🗺

Knowledge Provenance Engine

A W3C PROV-aligned graph of entities, activities, and agents supporting origin and transformation queries.

High-Speed Data Movement

High-density ingestion and marshaling that sustains line-rate transfer of multi-terabyte datasets.

Design Principles

What the Architecture Assumes

Deterministic by Construction

The same inputs produce the same result on every run and every machine: no randomness, no wall-clock dependence in a decision, so results are reproducible and auditable.

🔌

Air-Gap Capable

Verification requires no network, no external clock, and no third-party validator. The system is designed to operate fully disconnected.

🔑

Enforced Below the Host

Where possible, protection is anchored beneath the operating system, so a compromised or privileged host cannot silently reverse it.

📊

Measured, Not Asserted

Reductions in work and evidence of enforcement are counted by the system itself rather than estimated after the fact.
